# Overview

Servicely supports both inbound/outbound email connectivity with Microsoft hosted email inboxes, using Microsoft's Graph API.

# Configuration

## Entra

On Entra's side, an App registration is to be created for this with the following API Application type permissions:

:::hint{type="info"}
As required, please grant admin consent to the respective permissions

Also set a new Client secret for the App registration and keep a temporary copy for the Servicely configuration below.

It is recommended to setup Application access policy to scope the API permission above, only to the inbox(es) Servicely needs to read from/send as. You may refer to Microsoft's documentation such as: [https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/auth-limit-mailbox-access](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/auth-limit-mailbox-access)

Once the Messaging account is configured, you can clicked on "Test" button to test the connection.

:::hint{type="info"}
If the mailbox you are connecting to is newly created, you may need to wait several hours to ensure propagation in the Microsoft infrastructure.
