 A report provides visibility of a particular dataset that can be visually presented in different ways depending on the target audience and outcome.  It can be restricted to different users with different Servicely system roles or groups, can be scheduled and can also be placed onto Dashboards To create a report, navigate to Reporting > Reports > New report.

Reports

 A dashboard is a collection of selected reports used to provide a single of pane of glass visibility across processes you manage.  There can be more than one dashboard created and its visibility can be restricted to different roles and groups as required.

 A scheduled report runs a report/reports regularly on a nominated day and time and send them to a pre-defined list of users and groups.  To create a scheduled report, navigate to Reporting > Reports > New scheduled report navigation menu.

 Template reports are a way to generate tabular reports based on a template, which can be in the form of a Word or Excel document.  Data is extracted using a script and then is made available to to the template engine where substitution and control flow operators within the template can work with the extracted data to populate the rows and columns of the report.
