for development or testing purposes, you are able to direct all servicely outbound email notifications (emails servicely is sending out) into a single email address (override email address) this allows you to create or generate test records with real person (real email addresses) as requestors, assignees, etc but without them notified as the emails intended for them will be sent to the nominated override email address instead this should not be required for a production environment if you had this set up for testing purposes prior to a first go live, ensure that on the production environment, that this property is cleared/its value set to blank prior to go live or as part of your go live steps please also note an email address configured as the notification override, cannot be the same email address that servicely will read / send using following is a flow diagram illustrating how the feature fits with the overall servicely outbound notification configuration to set this up find the application property with "application properties key" of "notification email outbound override" set the "application properties value" to be the email address you want all outbound notifications to be sent to example below
