Servicely Configuration
Aspects & Views
Aspects are used to provide different views of the same Table record or Table list. The data for the underlying record will be there, however what fields you show and what logic runs can be different per aspect.
Branding
Prior to configuring any of the below, please set-up a custom Portal style first if you have not already done so. Note that naming it after your company name for the first custom Portal style is recommended.
Checklist Templates
In situations where there are a number of items required to complete a task, you can now set up checklists to help with managing the progress. This will also show you in the activity log as to when items have been finished or not.
Choices & Choice Lists
Within the platform, one of the field types that can be created is a choice field. These fields assist in allowing users to select from a per-defined list of values, without referring to a specific Table.

Classifications are used to classify/categorise any record in Servicely including tickets (i. e.
Custom Related Lists
Within a form, there is often a requirement to show a list of records that does not have a direct relationship with another record type and this is where Custom related lists come in. This allows you to provide a list of records on a form, whilst using the context of the record you are looking at.
Form Layouts
When you are looking at an individual record, this is often done through a form. Within Servicely, forms are configurable per Aspect configuration , per Table and can even have their own fields for specific pages and provide the ability to interact with the record.
Full Text Search
A full text search is a search that is accessible from any page and runs on all configured tables. The search results will be presented on a single page split into the respective tables the search found results in.
List Layouts
Often when you are looking to view data, this is done through a list. Within Servicely lists are configurable per aspect, per Table and can even have their own columns for specific pages and provide the ability to preview and enter records.
Localisation
Servicely supports multiple locales and localisation of messages into multiple languages, dynamic translation of fields and the ability to install language packs (a kind of specialised application) that contain LocalizedMessage records for a specific language. All of this is configurable using application properties.
Navigation Menu

Query Functions
Query functions are used to dynamically provide a value or list of values based on the current user’s session. There are two different versions of this, depending on what you want to achieve.
Record Generation
The record generator functionality provides the ability to generate a sequential group of records that are related to a parent record based on a condition. This can be used to set up specific work records that when completed will trigger other work record(s) to be created, whilst populating a parent’s field upon completion.
Reclassification Field Map
The reclassification field map capabilities within Servicely allow an easily configurable table to determine the fields or otherwise when attempting to create or update one record from another record. This Table and the script library provided, provides the mechanism to easily maintain what fields or information is carried over, without having to change the scripting or buttons that trigger a reclassification.
Reminder Generation
The reminder functionality provides the ability to set up repeatable notifications on a schedule within the system based on a condition. These reminders run until a stop condition is met and then can optionally run a script.
System Table Cleanup
The System Table Cleanup function provides an automated mechanism for clearing data from high volume transactional tables that do not need to track data indefinitely.
Schedule
Schedules are used to define either working hours or holidays for the purpose of Service level management configuration To find the existing list of Schedules, find Administration > Configuration > Schedules navigation menu and click on “Schedules” Create Schedules To create a Schedule, populate the following fields and click on the Create button. Public Holidays can be defined as a separate Schedule record.
Service Level Management (SLM)
The service level management functionary provides the ability to track the business duration within or without a specific schedule that a record may take between various conditions. The SLA definitions that are used to define the parameters of this feature can be run in a defined timezone and can then be started, stopped, paused or cancelled based on a condition.
Table Numbering
All Work extended tables, such as Incident management , ITSM Request management , Change Management and Problem management , have auto sequenced numbering function that applies unique numbers for each record created in each table. Workflow
Servicely provides the ability to create complex custom workflows. The User Action workflow activity provides the ability for end users to control the workflow, by presenting the the user with multiple options to progress the workflow status.
